It’s not about Religion,
it's about a Relationship!
Welcome to The Pursuit Church! We are ordinary people who are deeply flawed but fully loved by God. Our hope is in our relationship with Jesus—not in religious rules and rituals. We are in pursuit of His plans and purposes for our lives—seeking abandonment of our plans and purposes. We desire to push against culture and pursue risk taking for His name and renown, in the workplace, in the schools, in our recreation, with our friends and in every aspect of our daily life. Following Him in obedience—His way, His truth, His life is at the heart of everything we pursue.
At Pursuit "Be the church" is not just a cool slogan—it is an expectation. Being a part of a church that really desires to be the church in peoples lives will provide opportunities:
for personal and spiritual growth in key life areas such as, family, finances, friendships, and faith.
to receive support and encouragement in your marriage and in the raising of your children.
to discover, understand, and implement what God's plan and purpose is for your life.
to invest your talents and gifting's to help improve the lives of people God has placed in your footprint of influence; your neighborhood, your school, your work, your club, and your "doing life" places.
We want you to feel comfortable joining us for a weekend service. Please just come as you are—church is about the people you’re with, not the clothes you’re wearing.
We also understand there are lots of reasons people visit church; you went to church as a child, a friend invited you to come check it out or perhaps life’s been tough and you need some comfort, support and encouragement.
Whatever your reasons, we are excited you chose to visit us this weekend and you are always welcome back!
What can you expect if you visit one of our weekend services?
We’ll welcome you at the front of the building.
Coffee, other goodies and more coffee... before and after worship!
We open worship with singing (usually 4 songs). You’re welcome to sing along, or just listen in.
